We met Jonah, who was complaining about the world around him and how people don't obey God anymore.

God spoke to Jonah and gave him a special mission to go to the city of Nineveh with a message.

Jonah refused God's command and made excuses about why he shouldn't go to Nineveh, saying the people had their own gods.

Instead of obeying God, Jonah ran away and got on a ship going to Tarshish, which was the opposite direction from Nineveh.

A terrible storm hit the ship, and when the sailors drew lots to find who was to blame, Jonah was chosen and admitted it was his fault.

Jonah told the sailors to throw him into the sea to stop the storm, and reluctantly they did, which calmed the waters.
