We learned about the Great Basin, a desert region between mountain ranges where Native Americans must migrate to find food like seeds, grasshoppers, and rabbits.

We learned about the Great Plains, where millions of buffalo grazed and Native Americans used buffalo for everything in their lives.

We learned about the Southeast region with fertile coastal plains, long warm summers, and how Native Americans grew many crops and were mound builders.

Mr. Zoller concluded that Native Americans were diverse people who developed different ways of life based on their environment's climate and natural resources.
